Lanxess Arena, Köln, Germany– Felix Sturm (36-2-2, 15 KOs) vs. Sebastian Zbik (30-1, 10 KOs) (WBA 16o lb. title) Odds/Prediction: Sturm 12-5. Not impressed with either, but Sturm is getting old and could be out-hustled. Confusing billing here as BoxRec said it is a “WBA Super World middleweight title”fight. Seems the WBA is double dipping like the WBC’s “Silver title.”
Denis Boytsov (30-0, 25 KOs) vs. Dominick Guinn (33-8-1, 22 KOs) Odds/Prediction: Boystov 3-1. Favorite hasn’t really fought anybody yet, while Guinn has lost last pair and appears to now to be just a trial horse.
Hard Rock Casino, Las Vegas, NV– (ESPN 2) Michael Katsidis (28-5, 23 KOs) vs. Albert Mensah (24-3-1, 10 KOs) Odds/Prediction: Katsidis 4-1. A level better, Katsidis should prevail.

HBO SPIT-PPV CARD FROM EMANATING FROM LAS VEGAS & MEXICO
Mexico City Arena, Mexico City, MX– (HBO PPV) Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39 KOs) vs. Serhiy Fedchenko (30-1, 13 KOs) (World 135 lb. title) Odds/Prediction:
JMM 4-1. Coming off of “robbery” loss to Manny Pacquiao, and Pacquiao refusing to offer a rematch, JMM might have a mental letdown here. But I don’t think so, JMM wins here convincingly. Dropping $800 to win $200.
Mandalay Bay Casino, Las Vegas, NV– Brandon Rios (29-0-1, 22 KOs) vs. Richard Abril (17-2-1, 10 KOs) (vacant WBA 135 lb. title) Odds/Prediction: Rios 14-5. Abril is capable, but Rios looks to be just a tad better!
Mike Alvarado (32-0, 23 KOs) vs. Mauricio Herrera (18-1, 7 KOs) Odds/Prediction: Alvarado nothing to write home about, but Herrera can’t punch even a little! Will go with favorite.
Mercito Gesta (24-0-1, 12 KOs) vs. Luis Arceo (24-11-4, 12 KOs) Odds/Prediction: Gesta 5-1. Not thoroughly impressed with Filipino Gesta, but this looks like a “work” fight.
Odyssey Arena, Belfast, Northern Ireland– Tyson Fury (17-0, 12 KOs) vs. Martin Rogan (14-2, 7 KOs) Odds/Prediction: Fury 5-1. Looks like a workout for the white Tyson. Dropping $1,000 to win $200.
Forum Imperial, Acapulco, MX– Bryan Vasquez (28-0, 14 KOs) vs. Gilberto Gonzalez (18-2, 14 KOs) Odds/Prediction: Vasquez 6-1. Dropping $1,200 to win $200.
