FOUR STRAIGHT HOURS OF UFC ACTION ON SPIKE

Carlos Condit 22-4 (9 KOs, 13 SUBs) vs. Martin Kampmann 14-2 (7 KOs, 5 SUBs) Headlining the card will be two young up and comers who still are looking for the opportunity to impress the masses. Kampmann is a solid fighter out of Demark and can finish fights utilizing his strikes or on the ground with his ever improving ground game. Kampmann is the only man to defeat Thales Leites, who is set to take on UFC 185 lbs. champ Anderson Silva 23-4 (14 KOs, 4 SUBs) at UFC 97 on April 18th. Condit is also a dangerous contender, having won his last eight fights-all by stoppage. Condit holds a very impressive Submission win over WEC standout Brock Larson 24-2 (5 KOs, 16 SUBs). Condit will have his work cut out for him, being the naturally smaller man in the fight. Prediction: Kampmann by TKO. Ryan Bader 8-0 (4 KOs, 3 SUBs) vs. Carmelo Marrero 10-2 (2 KOs, 4 SUBs) While Ryan “Darth” Bader may be in the running for corniest nick name, it won’t matter what you call him when he steps in the cage. The bottom line is Bader can fight and sports an undefeated résumé to back it up. He will be in for his toughest test yet as he faces off with American Top Team’s Carmelo Marrero. I think Marrero Cage IQ will help him in the fight, and will put Bader to the test. Prediction: tough call but I will go with Marrero by close decision.

Tyson Griffin 12-2 (5 KOs, 3 SUBs) vs. Rafael Dos Anjos 11-3 (1 KO, 5 SUBs) Tyson Griffin has always displayed great skills and solid well rounded abilities. Both his losses, one to Frankie Edgar 9-1 (2 KOs, 2 SUBs) and one to Sean Sherk 33-3-1 (8 KOs, 13 SUBs), were very close and somewhat questionable (especially his loss to Sherk). Dos Anjos will be thrown right into the fire in his 2nd UFC appearance. Dos Anjos is a tough guy but he might be overwhelmed in this one.
Prediction: Griffin by TKO.

Junie Browning 3-0 (1 KO, 2 SUBs) vs. Cole Miller 14-3 (3 KOs, 9 SUBs) The Ultimate Fighter season #8 bad boy Junie Browning may be in for a serious wake up call on April 1st, and that is no joke. Cole Miller is a tough rangy fighter whose frame and style can present problems for any opponent.
Prediction: Miller by Submission.

UNDERCARD BOUTS APLENTY

Gleison Tibau 16-6 (2 KOs, 8 SUBs) vs. Jeremy Stephens 14-4 (10 KOs, 2 SUBs) Prediction: Stephens by TKO.

Ricardo Almeida 9-3 (4 SUBs) vs. Matt Horwich 22-11-1 (2 KOs, 18 SUBs) Prediction: Almeida by UD.

Brock Larson 24-3 (5 KOs, 16 SUBs) vs. Jesse Sanders 20-4 (6 KOs, 12 SUBs) Prediction: Larson by Submission.

Tim Credeur 11-2 (4 KOs, 7 SUBs) vs. Nick Catone 6-0 (3 KOs, 2 SUBs) Prediction: Credeur by Submission.

Jorge Rivera 15-7 (10 KOs, 2 SUBs) vs. Nissen Osterneck 5-1 (1 KO, 4 SUBs) Prediction: Osterneck by Submission.

Rob Kimmons 21-4 (5 KOs, 13 SUBs) vs. Joe Vedepo 7-2 (3 KOs, 3 SUBs) Prediction: Kimmons by UD.

Tim Mckenzie 12-5 (7 KOs, 4 SUBs) vs. Aaron Simpson 4-0 (4 KOs)
Prediction: Simpson by TKO.

Steve Steinbeiss 4-2 (3 KOs, 1 SUB) vs. Ryan Jensen 13-5 (5 KOs, 8 SUBs) Prediction: Jensen by UD.
