JON JONES FLEES CAR ACCIDENT SCENE
San Francisco, CA– Being a former Police Officer, I can tell you that there are two forms of “Justice” in this country. One for the poor that involves jail time and unpaid fines, the other for the wealthy which involves community service and paid fines.
JONES CASE HAS SMELL OF “CASH” ALREADY
Which brings me to Jon Jones, the current UFC light heavyweight (205 lb.) has been classified as a “Suspect” in a Hit & Run accident near his training facilities in Albuquerque, NM that took place early Sunday morning as “JJ” is prepping for a title defense vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson on May 26 at UFC 187.
FIRST REPORTS SAID “DRUGS IN CAR”
1) The accident is said to have occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning or late Saturday night.
2) Jones is said to have “fled” the scene.
3) The “car to car” collision involved a pregnant woman.
4) Initially, reports were saying there drugs in the car.
DID “BLOW” FOUR WEEKS BEFORE CORMIER
In December, Jones tested positive for Cocaine in a random drug test about four weeks prior to defeating Daniel Cormier January 3. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer fame, Jones told one news agency that he “knew he was in trouble as he did the Coke the night before the random test.”
AT FIRST JONES’ BEHAVIOR NOT A PATTERN
Initially, the Coke wasn’t as big a thing to me as his extremely low Testosterone level, equivalent to that of a 85-year old man. Seeing the UFC champ had no gray hair, doesn’t look close to 85, thus the other logical conclusion is that he was “cycling” off of a Performance Enhancing Drug. As for #4, the Albuquerque PD never mentioned any drugs in their brief statement.
#3 PREGNANT WOMAN HURT
There were no SERIOUS injuries to the victim. According to the New Mexico laws, if she were injured it is Felony Hit & Run and “JJ” SHOULD have been thrown in jail Sunday. This case has been designated a “ Misdemeanor ” by the police. Injuries and it’s a Misdemeanor? THAT’S MONEY TALKING OUT LOUD.
“JJ” SEEN AT SCENE OF ACCIDENT
Per #2, Jones did flee the scene of the accident.
MOST DISTURBING WAS #1
Jones was out in the wee hours of the night less than a month away from Anthony Johnson and UFC 187. This is not good, nor was the fact he was doing Cocaine 30 days before the win over Cormier. This behavior/attitude is not that of
championship longevity. Add to all this the 2012 DUI conviction in Georgia.
JONES SHATTERS LINDSAY LOHAN REHAB RECORD
The Coke and Testosterone tests from December weren’t released until late January or three weeks after the fight. Jones came clean with a prearranged media sit-down and entered a Rehab Center for Cocaine. “JJ” left after less than 24 hours of his being in the program. (Hint, he wasn’t cured!)
CHAMP ON “SELF DESTRUCTIVE” COURSE?
The aforementioned issues, failed drug tests, his totaling a $100,000 car on a Georgia highway a couple of years ago, Jon Jones just didn’t begin to spiral out of control apparently.
NO DRUGS, NO DUI, WHY RUN AWAY THEN?
Plus, his running from the scene of a fender bender is troubling because if he didn’t have something SERIOUS to hide Jones would not have ran!
EXPECT “COMMUNITY SERVICE AND….”
This is a done deal as the victim would have to take part in any prosecution of Jones. With the thought being that this pregnant woman will get “bank” for letting “JJ” walk, this unborn kid’s family is going to have more than enough cash to put “twins” through school.
MARK MY WORDS HERE!
Jones will have 30 days to appear on this Misdemeanor case. In closing, this will turn out just as I stated above with, “community service and paid fines.”
