AUSSIE UFC FIGHT NIGHT ON SATURDAY
Los Angeles, CA– If you like heavyweight (265 limit) bouts, tune in for a good one on Saturday night. Live from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, Mark “The Super Samoan” Hunt (10-9-1) takes on Stipe Miocic (12-2). Hunt, being from New Zealand, will essentially be the home fighter. I think he’ll have enough of the home field advantage to defeat a solid fighter in Miocic.
MIDDLEWEIGHTS (185) IN CO-MAIN
I like Brad Tavares (13-3) to top Aussie Robert Whittaker (13-4) in the co-main event of Saturday’s card. Tavares has fought the better competition, and seems to be the more talented fighter on paper at least.
PEROSH SHOULD PLEASE FANS
On the undercard, Anthony Perosh (15-8) will handle business versus Sean O’Connell (16-6). Neither guy is doing too much at light heavyweight (205), but they are definitely in that weight division. Since the champion, Jon Jones (21-1), is out of commission for a while, it have become more of a light heavywait division.
SOMEONE’S O HAS TO GO!
Lightweight (155) Jake Matthews (8-0) will have the crowd behind him when he beats James Vick (7-0). That will be the opening bout of the main card on UFC Fight Pass at 11PM/8PM ETPT.
