Dallas, TX– The UFC heads to Broomfield, Colorado for their first event on the Versus network. The four fight minimum card will be headlined by Brandon Vera (11-4, 7 KOs, 1 SUB) taking on Jon Jones (9-1, 5 KOs, 2 SUBs) in a light heavyweight bout. Also on the card, Junior Dos Santos (10-1, 7 KOs, 3 SUBs) will square off with fellow Brazilian heavyweight Gabriel Gonzaga (11-4, 5 KOs, 6 SUBs). Another heavyweight bout will feature two top notch strikers throwing leather with dangerous Frenchman Cheick Kongo (14-6-1, 9 KOs, 2 SUBs) taking on the free swinging head hunter Paul Buentello (27-11, 7 KOs, 9 SUBs). The card will be kicked off with a middleweight scrap between Alessio Sakara (14-7, 8 KOs, 2 SUBs) and James Irvin (14-5, 10 KOs, 2 SUBs).
