LEGAL STEROIDS THE SUBJECT
San Francisco, CA– Testosterone is the hormone that is at the center of the Steroid world. A man is said to have his “T” level decrease each year past the early 20s. If you mess with anabolic steroids or performance-enhancing drugs, in other words cheat, the body’s ability to produce and make testosterone is damaged to the extent where an athlete needs TRT or Testosterone Replacement Therapy. When I first got wind of this a few years back, I thought then what I think now, that this is nothing more than legalized cheating!
TESTOSTERONE & THE NUMBERS!
Whether it is MMA, boxing, baseball, horseshoes, it really doesn’t matter. If you intentionally ingest performance-enhancing drugs that turn out to be debilitating, I’m sorry for the onus is on you the cheater. The Ultimate Fighting Championships endorsed the concept of testosterone replacement therapy and the Nevada State Athletic Commission made a determination that a 6 to 1 testosterone ratio is acceptable. The United States Olympic Committee, they set the testosterone bar at 4 to 1, and again before I move on, Dana White, the UFC president was a major proponent of what he now calls ”legalized cheating.”
“THE COUNT” GOT VERY LOUD ON “ANTI-STEROIDS”
If you follow MMA and or listen to my show than you know who Michael Bisping is. A native of the UK, “The Count” as he’s known is one hell of a trash talker, in addition to being a good fighter. Over the years, the Brit has been one of the few UFC fighters that has railed against Testosterone Replacement Therapy. I mean it doesn’t take a genius to figure this out: If you have more testosterone, you can train harder, fight harder and recover easier.
VITOR BELFORT CAREER REBORN FROM CHEATING?
So when Bisping went down to Brazil last month and fought native Vitor Belfort in a 185 lb. bout, “The Count” was beaten badly. White felt that the additional testosterone given to Belfort in training was the determining factor regarding the outcome of the fight. There are a number of fighters that are allowed to ” legally cheat” in Nevada. They include Forrest Griffin, Dan Henderson, Chael Sonnen, to name just three.
HOW CAN DANA WHITE STOP WHAT HE STARTED?
Last week, White took an about face on the subject of testosterone replacement therapy. He now sounds like, like, like me when he states TRT is legalized cheating. In closing, it’s obvious that Dana White is crying over spilled milk. That’s really too bad, because it was Dana he himself who spilled it!
