TONY THOMPSON DRILLS DAVID PRICE AGAIN
Liverpool, UK– Echo Arena– Tony Thompson (38-3, 26 KOS) TKO 5 David “Lurch” Price (15-2, 13 KOs) In laying odds on fight I said, “Should Price flop again, it will be a combination of Thompson being more than people thought and Price being much less.” Price drops Tony in round two, Price continues to have better of it but his being startled by a Thompson shot early in that same round two. Was seemingly “running on fumes” before end of round three. In the fourth, TT began connecting with greater authority on Price who was tired and looking like a beaten man from his body language. After a standing eight count, the referee saw the “beaten” look of Price and saved Lurch from a further beating. Time was 1:51 of round five. Price flops and Thompson, 41 years of age, says he is going home and “Going to try and break his wife’s hip,” meaning Tony will be taking care of business at home ASAP! Back to the fight, Price is a “non-starter” and TT should look to the winner of the David Haye-Tyson Fury all UK heavyweight clash in August.

DIB FORTUNATE TO GET ESPN2 CALL OVER OLIVER
Hartford, CT– Connecticut Convention Center- Billy Dib (36-2, 21 KOs) MD 10 Mike Oliver (25-4, 8 KOs) Two points taken from Dib for his aggressive body work that strayed low. Scores were 96-92 twice & 94-94. Expected to win and looking like spit, Dib wants to avenge a loss in his last fight against Evgeny Gradovich.
