TIM BRADLEY-MANNY PACQUIAO FIGHT INDUCES EXCRUCIATING PAIN!
Las Vegas, NV– Man oh man. I don’t know why I torment myself with watching things like that. Regardless of how many bad decisions you may have had the unfortunate experience of witnessing, you usually will keep coming back for more citing that they can’t all be that bad.
ADDICTED TO BOXING, OR IS IT FISTIC CRACK?
That I guess is one the reasons why I continually tune in to watch the sport I love. Over the years there have been bad decisions but it typically isn’t involving a superstar. That unfortunately was not the case last night at the MGM Grand. For any judge to score Manny Pacquiao-Tim Bradley even close, let alone for Bradley, should take a remediation course in how to score a fight.
THE REALITY OF PAC & BRADLEY
If you were being generous you could have conceivably given Bradley two to three rounds. But being a judge isn’t about generosity. It’s about integrity and knowledge of the sport and how to score a fight. In my opinion, none of these attributes were on display Saturday night. Still, I must admit, there were those who thought the fight was closer than myself and a plethora of pundits.
PERCEPTION IS THAT BOB ARUM IS BEHIND EVERYTHING!
And what is most disgusting is that Bob Arum is able to dictate how this sport is perceived, run, and represented. People within the boxing industry and fans alike have long said that Arum (an admitted but uncharged Felon) is a scumbag, I’m inclined to agree.
NATIONAL COMMISSION OR MORE OF THE SAME
I’ve heard and read Pedro Fernandez scream of the necessity of a Federal Boxing Commission and an effective czar to head the organization. But the boxing “establishment” wants no part of that, why Bob Arum could’ve never got Antonio “The Cheat” Margarito licensed in Texas if there was a Federal body, this after his being denied in both California and Nevada.

Manny doesn’t seem to have the same drive to finish his opponents. I’m not sure if his having almost 60 fights is catching up with him, his intensity is waning, or having so much faith in the Lord, sometimes praying three hours daily. Here’s the reality of the situation Manny, your prayers did not work!
