HBO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING IS BACK
New York, NY– WBC welterweight (147 lbs) champion Andre Berto (25-0, 19 KOs) takes on tough and determined challenger Carlos Quintana (27-2, 21 KOs) in a scheduled 12 round contest held at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida, Saturday at 10:30 PM ET on HBO.
BERTO ANXIOUS TO IMPRESS
Having not fought in almost a year, mainly due to devastating earthquakes that struck his homeland of Haiti, Andre Berto is back and eager to display his frantically paced style which has he showcased in previous highly entertaining scraps against Luis Collazo (W UD 12) and David Estrada (W TKO 11).
PHANTOM CHAMP?
Known as the only man to hold a victory over Paul Williams, former WBO belt holder, Carlos Quintana has been trying to recapture the glory he had achieved since that victory. Carlos was set back in his next affair against Williams, getting pummeled in just one round in their rematch. Quintana has fought twice since, winning both by early round knockout.
