GASSED, ARCE COMES BACK TO WIN WBO 118 LB. TITLE

Mazatlan, MXJorge Arce, (118), Los Mochis, Mexico UD 12 Angky Angkotta, (117.5), Jakarta, Indonesia. Breathing hard and tired, Arce was staggered by Angkotta in round eight, but the Mexican who had taken the WBO 122 lb. crown from Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., defended it once before dropping to 118, survived and caught his second wind to pull ahead and wins with scores of 117-111 & 118-110 twice. Arce’s highlight round was the 11th frame, one in which he unloaded on the Indonesian.
