RONDA ROUSEY WILL SOON HAVE MMA WORLD BY THE “NADS”

San Francisco, CA– Having written about and worked with some MMA stars over the years, the “hits” on UFC & Strikeforce stories greatly increased when the names of Brock Lesnar and Gina Carano were in the subject line. With Gina having done the movie Haywire that was released early this year, and about to start filming, In The Blood, this all before a rumored remake of Wonder Woman, Gina’s fighting days are probably done. Lesnar has left the UFC and returned to his professional wrestling roots. That being said, the hottest rising star in the world of MMA is Ronda Rousey.

FEMALE MMA VERSION OF ALI & FOREMAN WITH YOUNG BO DEREK LOOKS!

Like both Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, Ronda won an Olympic medal in 2008, this after winning the Pan American Gold in 2004 & 2005. She’s a great talker with the gift of gab, can fight, refuses to be pushed around, and like George Foreman in his post boxing “Grill Machine” era, she’s nice, easily approachable and very fan-friendly, this is addition to being beautiful. As for her record, “Double R” is 5-0 with all five wins coming via submission. Her last fight was against Miesha Tate, who Ronda forced to submit to an arm bar at 4:57 of round one. All of Ronda’s four prior fights combined did not last 4:57 in total. Tate, although her arm was not broken, it might have been better for her if it were as she is on the shelf until her ligaments and tendons heal.

WHY THIS CHICK WILL MAKE DANA WHITE EAT HIS HAT!

UFC President Dana White, while he may be a genius of sorts, has long refused to include women in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. He has relegated them to his “other” brand “Strikeforce” as White owns (10%), the Dubai Government holds 13%, while Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta own 87% of the UFC, which owns Strikeforce MMA who has Ronda Rousey under contract. From her shoving Tate at the volatile weigh in the day before the fight, an additional 3,000 tickets were sold to the Strikeforce event held in Ohio this past March.

GINA WAS THE RATINGS QUEEN, BUT RONDA WILL TOP HER!

With looks that mirror a young Bo Derek, who played the “Perfect 10” titled movie with the late Dudley Moore in the 1970s, Ronda is the hottest up and coming star in MMA, with the potential to eclipse any former or current UFC male performer if White gives her the opportunity I think her popularity has forced him into.

EXPECTING RONDA TO ON THE NEXT FOX NETWORK TV CARD

Although the overall numbers were off for Nate Diaz-Jim Miller card when the UFC last went live on the FOX TV Network, the broadcast did win the key demographics of 18-35 year old males. Rousey was labeled a “novelty” attraction by the Dave “The Genius” Meltzer, MMA’s premier authority among the media, well I have to disagree with him here. I think Rousey is not only headed towards superstardom, but that she will compel millions of women to tune into the next UFC FOX card, that’s if White let’s his macho “No Chicks” stance on chicks in the UFC go by the wayside.

RONDA WILL SOON BE A COMMERCIAL QUEEN ON TV!

If White realizes reality here and doesn’t stick to being a male chauvinist, Rousey will destroy Sarah Kaufman in the next UFC on FOX event and White, a pioneer in many aspects of bringing MMA, the UFC in particular into the mainstream, will have his biggest star ever. If FOX builds this up right, not only will the women turn out in mass, but the male intrigue will be there as well. Originally penciled in for a July Strikeforce card on Showtime, there is less talk of her appearing on Showtime and more of her making a precedent setting appearance on FOX TV. In closing, nobody has greater looks, more ability when it comes to both fighting and talking. In other words, nobody can “Talk the Talk & Walk the Walk,” better than Ronda Rousey. If Dana White keeps her on Showtime, he will essentially be crippling the sport and at the same time hurting his business interests.
