was the best of all time in Ringtalk.com’s “Greatest Fighter of All-time” poll. 36% had the self proclaimed “Greatest” Muhammad Ali (56-5, 37 KOs) on top. 21% favored former heavyweight champion Joe Louis(66-3, 52 KOs). A measly 2.5% voted for the “Old Mongoose” Archie Moore (185-23-10, 131 KOs), who is #1 in boxrec.com’s computerized rankings. Boxrec.com’s top five are as follows, 1. Moore. 2. Robinson, 3. Ali, 4. Louis, 5. Ezzard Charles(93-25-1, 52 KOs). The computer rated Henry Armstrong (150-21-10,101 KOs), the only fighter to hold world titles in three weight classes simultaneously, #15.
