Adrien “The Problem” Broner

ADRIEN BRONER & RACIAL STEREOTYPES

San Francisco, CA– Back in 1992, we did a fight in Reno, NV that was simply billed, “Tough Guys Don’t Dance” involving victor Greg Haugen and Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini.  After watching Adrien Broner apply his trade Saturday night against Paulie Malignaggi, it was obvious that Broner cannot dance.  Not that he isn’t tough, but truth be told if Paulie could punch nobody would be saying, “Yo, Adrien.”

WORLD CLASS STATUS CERTAIN, GREATNESS NOT!

An unbeaten (27-0, 22 KOs) prodigy with fast hands who turns 24 next month, Adrien Broner has been labeled an elite fighter by the boxing “establishment.”  Although he has skills that are rare  defensive wizardry that is Floyd Mayweather-ish, doing so so prematurelty is like asking for the Oscar winning envelope at the Academy Awards before the critics have even seen the film.

ANOTHER RACIAL STEREOTYPE BITES THE DUST!

“The Problem” has the connections with boxing’s Al Haymon, above average skills, some pop in his punch, but one thing Adrien can’t do is dance.  I guess Broner stifles the stereotype that all Black people can dance!  Anybody that thinks they are watching the next Floyd Mayweather, better think Andre Berto!
