COTTO VS. CANELO “EASY” TO GET UP FOR
San Francisco, CA– Having been held HOSTAGE for months, guess what boxing fans, the Miguel Cotto-Canelo Alvarez is a great fight sans any need for Cialis. Everybody I know is “juiced” about the fight, with one exception. That being the World Boxing Council and it’s leader by inheritance Mauricio Sulaiman. Seems Cotto backed out of a supposedly agreed upon sanctioning fee for his wearing the “green” belt.
MARTINEZ WAS SUPPOSED TO LICK COTTO
Before we go any further, reports have it the WBC wants Cotto, a surprising middleweight (160 lb.) champion who hels titles at 140, 147 & 154 lbs. Surprising because undSergio Martinez was supposed to beat him. Instead Sergio entered the ring wearing two “steel” knee braces. Had you bet any money on the Argentine, you knew you were screwed. ON unsteady pins, (legs) Martinez should have been on crutches.
COTTO HAS IMPROVED SOME WITH ROACH
Trainer Freddie Roach and Cotto have “molded” together well, this was illustrated in his resounding win over Daniel Geale last time out. A genius at taking guys to “another” level, Roach should be respected for his tenure and success. Although his real accomplishments are at lower weights, Cotto was hammered into submission by Manny “Flinstone Vitamins” Pacquiao and Antonio Marga-Cheato, although we can toss out the Margarito setback seeing he was caught loading his gloves with “plaster blocks” in his wraps before his NEXT fight with Shane Mosley.
CANELO NEVER “PUNISHED” IN CAREER
While Miguel has been in “life and death” matches with Manny and creepy Margarito, Saul Alvarez got slapped around in his only loss thus far to Floyd Mayweather. A case of “slick” matchmaking by Floyd, et al, Canelo was walking around with his feet incased in cement buckets. Erislandy Lara gave him hell, but he has yet to be really beaten up.
300 WORDS THUS FAR TO SAY THIS…
The “younger” guy, Canelo should be able to outwork Cotto with volumininous punching and out working the Puerto Rican. Nothing is a cinch here, thus the intrique is there as people are as split on this one as they are heads & tails on who wins.
GENNADY GOLOVKIN RINGSIDE TO CHALLENGE VICTOR
Although neither Cotto or Alvarez are VOCALLY avoiding WBA champ Gennady Golovkin, they want him as much as they do Chlamydia. Although Cotto holds the linear middleweight championmship, the unbeaten (33-0, 30 KOs) “GGG” is considered the better fighter. That being said, if Cotto wins and refuses “GGG,” I don’t blame him as he’s gonna get killed. Canelo says he will fight “GGG” at a catch weight of 155, the same weight Cotto and Canelo made for tonight.
