BOXING FANS, BOXING MEDIA, MAJORITY THINK MARQUEZ BEAT PACQUAIO
San Francisco, CA– With rumors abound in the Philippines that Manny Pacquiao has fathered a child out of wedlock, the boxing world is demanding the Filipino Congressman fight Juan Manuel Marquez again. Why? Because of the stench left by judges Glen Trowbridge’s 116-112 (8-4 in rounds) & Dave Moretti’s 115-113 (7-5) scorecards favoring Manny over Marquez, this in a fight that the majority of both fans and media feel Pacquiao lost!
ARUM INSULTS MEAL TICKET FOR YEARS, MEXICAN FANS!
Adding insult to injury, the bottles, cans, and debris hurled at Pacquiao in the ring after the majority decision (one judge called it even at 114-114) was announced, promoter Bob Arum, who has made a lot of money off of the biggest boxing demographic, Mexicans, said that all the “heat” being hurled at the Pacman is “From a few Mexicans.” What a piece of *hit Arum is seeing if it weren’t for Mexican and Mexican-American fans, he might be still be promoting the likes of carnival star Butterbean Esch.
PACQUIAO PRAYING BEFORE DECISION WHILE MARQUEZ WAS CELEBRATING!
That was the scene Saturday night before the decision was announced, Marquez rejoicing, as Manny was praying for the decision he eventually received. Now with Manny Pacquiao’s stock value having plummeted greatly, the thought of fighting Floyd Mayweather in a mega-match is now on the back burner. When and if they do clash, Mayweather will own Pacquiao in negotiations, and at the same time get Manny to adhere to random drug testing, this before being shutout over 12 rounds.
MAYWEATHER WOULD BE GUILTY OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FIGHTING PAC
After Saturday, most analysts realize that Pacquiao, despite all the crap emanating from his homeland, that Manny doesn’t have a prayer of a chance of beating Mayweather, for he is a far better counter puncher than Marquez, who counterpunched holes in Pacquiao. Expect Bob Arum to put his tail between his legs and beg Marquez for a fourth fight with Pacquiao. I think the money should be split 50-50 and with Arum being under an incredible amount of pressure, I wouldn’t be surprised if Marquez gets the deal he wants for a possible March or May 2012 fight. In the meantime, Manny Pacquiao has lost two fights to Marquez, who at the age of 38 is both far past his prime, and not even remotely in Floyd Mayweather’s league, who never lost a minute, let alone a round against Marquez.
