PERCEPTION OF PACQUIAO’S ANTI-GAY RANTS
San Francisco, CA– Yesterday and today, the Internet, huge news sites, as well as those involved with boxing have taken Manny Pacquiao to task for his reportedly saying, “All Gay Men Should Be Killed.” Pacquiao did not come right out and deny these charges, nor did his promoter Bob Arum. Instead, they went into “Damage Control” mode.
PACQUIAO HAS SAID SO MANY STUPID THINGS!
The “heat” that Pacquiao has been taking is almost unprecedented in boxing annals. I mean, Floyd Mayweather says stupid things, but he doesn’t quote the bible or side with a belief that there should be a Holocaust on Gay men and Lesbian women. Oh I forgot, like a majority of men who abhor Gay men having the same Civil Rights that heterosexual males have, Manny didn’t indicate he had a problem copping a free peek of “girl on girl” sex at YouPorn.com or any of the other free pornographic sites.
ON CONDOMS, HOW MANY PEOPLE DID MANNY KILL?
When the most decorated athlete in Philippine history came out over a year ago and said that, “Using a condom was a sin,” I was the only writer who spoke about the impact of his comments. First of all, the guy doesn’t use condoms, for if he did he would not have at least one child out of wedlock. The fact that the mother has to go to the media begging for “child support,” this again illustrated Pacquiao’s shortcomings as a man.
IF ONE PERSON DIED, THEN MANNY’S A KILLER!
Pacquiao is a Philippine Congressman who spent in excess of $5 million U.S. dollars to get less than 300,000 votes. If you do the math, that’s like $25 bucks a vote. It was after getting elected and before his bastard child was revealed that Pacquiao issued the “condom is a sin” statement. Forget about the unwanted pregnancies, if one person, out of the millions of people that worship Pacquiao in a God-like manner, if just one of them contracted a sexually transmitted disease and died as a result, that to me means Manny Pacquiao is responsible for the death!
DID WRITER RECANT OR JUST FALL ON HIS SWORD?
Earlier today, the writer involved in this “Manny Pacquiao Says All Gay Men Should Die,” issued a half-ass statement that appeared to me to lack true merit. Having been a writer who has printed things people have said, and been asked to retract or clean it up, (see Damage Control) I refused to fall on my sword because somebody said something asinine. If you carefully read the verbiage, you almost got the impression that Top Rank publicist Lee Samuels was on the phone telling this clown what to write.
TRUTH CAN BE HARMFUL TO WRITER’S HEALTH
Having been writing for others since Richard Nixon was the United States President, I can say that “writing news,” especially of a controversial manner, you come to find out that people in general, especially those in power, don’t want the truth to come out. Bob Arum can call any writer in the world, with the exception of me, and put forth the notion that Manny didn’t and wouldn’t say the things he was accused of.
ARUM DIDN’T CALL ESPN OR CNN!
Instead of going to the NY Times or Las Vegas Yahoo! Sports scribe Kevin Iole, Arum reached out to Michael Marley, once the best writer on the fight beat when he was with the NY Post, who is now just a guy imitating the real Michael Marley.
PACQUIAO IS A RELIGIOUS FANATIC!
Like Mitt “Raw Money” Romney firing one of his top campaign aides a fortnight ago who is Gay, that was because he’s pandering to the religious right in this country, hoping they would excuse his being a Mormon and vote for him instead of the Black guy that’s in favor of Gay Civil Rights. Manny is the religious right!
NOBODY, NOBODY WAS SCREAMING DENIAL!
Folks, instead of holding a major press conference to deny these allegations, Manny was holed up in his Los Angeles compound, where again, and this only seems to happen when Manny Pacquiao is involved, it was so quiet you could hear a mouse piss on a wad of cotton in his garage.
RELIGION’S KILLED MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE!
We live in a world where people will blow themselves and hundreds of others into pieces under the pretence that they are doing God’s work. More people have died in the name of the Jesus Christ, the Lord, Mohammad, Allah, etc., there are others, but truth be told more men and women have died because of religion than for any other reason.
PACQUIAO IS NO MENTAL GIANT!
Look, let’s be honest Pacquiao has what amounts to about an eighth grade education here in the U.S., and I might be overstating that. He says things that are harmful to society in general, like the condom thing, and he pops off about homosexuals and Gay marriage. Who the **** is Manny Pacquiao, and what gives him the audacity to say anything of that ilk?
MOST FILIPINOS & I AGREE ON ONE THING!
I concur with a vast majority of the Filipino people who wish Manny Pacquiao would just stick to boxing, forget about politics, and oh yeah, just shut the **** up about anything other than boxing!
