The World 140 lb. champ, fighting in a non-title tiff against a vastly over matched foe at 142, did what he was supposed to do, end things quickly.

DANNY DID NOT “CARRY” 50-1 FOE

After a feeling out round one, Garcia caught Salka with a left hook that rattled his cage badly. Displaying weird facial expressions and on unsteady pins, Danny went for it with an overhand right that knocked Salka down hard. Beating the count, Salka got up and Danny knew what to do. Throwing both punches to the body and head, Selka was again hurt and took a knee in order to get a reprieve from punishment.

MISMATCH LASTED AS LONG AS GARCIA LET IT

Garcia stalked his opponent around the ring and threw hard shots to the head and body. Many punches landed. Another right hand hurt Salka, a smart guy in and out of the ring, and he decided to take a knee to regroup. After a continued beating, a left hook sealed the deal as the ref stopped it after Salka went down that third time at 2:31 of round two.
