FLOYD NOT IN JAIL AS OF 1 AM PT FRIDAY
San Francisco, CA– With rumors that Floyd Mayweather had been arrested being bantered about, I called the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, NV early Friday morning in order to try and determine whether or not this was true. “He is not in our system, right now,” said a female who put me on hold to check.
JAILER HAD SLIGHT PAUSE IN ORATORY
Being a former San Francisco Policeman and licensed Private Investigator, I found her answer both revealing and puzzling in that I’m almost certain that she put a verbal comma after, “He is not in our system, right now.”
MR. TWITTER HASN’T TWEETED S*IT!
The alleged beatings of two former employees, if it turns out to be true, and there is no reason not to think so considering Mayweather aka Mr. Tweet hasn’t chirped any denials via his Twitter or Instagram page. Look, I know a bit about writing about controversial subjects and when TMZ ran with the story and never pulled it, this too leads me to concur that these allegations are true as Mayweather’s lawyers would have put TMZ in check soon after they ran with it. .
ANYBODY CRYING FOR FLOYD?
Outside of his family and his sycophant like servants, who will care really? And no this is not Justin Beiber’s bodyguard shoving a cameraman, this is the World welterweight champion who is alleged to have orchestrated a vicious attack that is said to have resulted in broken arms and legs. While there are certainly lawyers involved, even if the purported victims opt for a cash settlement, I don’t think that would prevent the District Attorney from filing Felony charges against the biggest moneymaker in boxing history.
DON’T FORGET ORENTHAL JAMES (O.J.) SIMPSON
The District Attorney in Las Vegas showed no mercy when they went after and imprisoned O.J. Simpson for what will probably be Life for flashing guns and taking stuff that was said to belong to the former NFL star from San Francisco. Nobody really wanted Simpson in jail more than the Clark County prosecutors office. The guy that pulled the gun is already out after serving a jail stint.
“SILENCE & SECRECY” TANTAMOUNT TO CONFESSION?
Knowing the way the legal system works, the two reported victims will end up with more money than they can probably spend. And no matter what kind of deal Floyd’s attorneys were to work out, the District Attorney can file charges sans any cooperation. When it comes to answering questions under oath, whether it’s before a Grand Jury or in court, these guys aren’t going to want to go to jail themselves.
OMINOUS FEELINGS ABOUT THIS
In this instance, if all of these ducks line up as some theorize, it appears Floyd Mayweather is going to the big house. You know the place where for his own safety it’ll have to be in near Solitary Confinement. Remember during his last jail stint of a few months, Floyd fell apart emotionally. If he thinks the Clark County Detention Center time was binding, wait until he gets that first whiff of the state prison system.
WILL “MONEY” ENABLE FLOYD TO WALK?
Even though Floyd is good for the Las Vegas economy, one that has taken a major hit with Macao now “Las Vegas on Steroids” by doing seven times more money than Sin City has siphoned off a huge piece of what used to go into Las Vegas casino coffers. Although this is not Texas where Malcolm Wallace got a five year suspended sentence for 1st Degree Murder because of his service to President Lyndon Johnson, strange things involving money have been known to happen in Las Vegas.
