CHICKENS COME HOME TO ROOST ON DAVID A. AVILA 
San Francisco, CA– About ten years ago I got a hold of the Balco Laboratories Grand Jury transcripts. Balco, what’s Balco? That was the Burlingame, CA firm run by convicted millionaire Felon Victor Conte that supplied Performance Enhancing Drugs to athletes such as Olympic Gold Medalist Marion Jones, NFL’s Bill Romanowski and a number of MLB players that included home run king Barry Bonds. Jones was stripped of her Olympic medals and records in a number of Track & Field events. Bonds was essentially banished from baseball when the SF Giants let him go and no other MLB team showed any interest.

MOSLEY ON STEROIDS IN OSCAR REMATCH
Another athlete that testified before the San Francisco Federal Grand Jury was boxer Shane Mosley. Subpoenaed by the Justice Dept., the Pomona, CA native and former heralded lightweight (135 lb.) and welterweight (147) king admitted to using undetectable Anabolic Steroids dubbed “The Clear” & “The Creme.”
TOOK FOUR YEARS FOR SPORTS ILLUSTRATED MENTION
Mosley’s testimony was NEVER reported by another news provider, be it newspaper, radio, magazine, TV news, people whom I assumed had access to the transcripts never mentioned Mosley and Steroids until Sports Illustrated. Having hinted for weeks at what I had, it was clear, like Operation Matchbox I was running solo. Thinking something like this might get you a phone call from the Boxing Writers of America, but no as they are part of The Boxing Establishment.
FACTS DAVID A. AVILA IGNORED
1) Shane Mosley had been ordered to testify here in San Francisco and granted immunity provided he were totally truthful.
2) Under oath Mosley admitted to using banned Anabolic Steroids and EPO (blood doping) provided by Conte.
3) During an investigation, Shane Mosley lied in writing and through his attorney when telling the Nevada State Athletic Commission he had taken NO Performance Enhancing Drugs when they asked. (Shane admitted in 2009 that he did just that in a video posted below.)
4) His urine test was “destroyed” by reps of the Nevada Commission shortly after the Oscar De La Hoya rematch of 2004.
5) Mosley even “beat the machine” as the future Hall of Famer was given a Lie Detector (Polygraph) test arranged by his attorney Judd Burstein and according to the results, the Lie Detector said Mosley was telling the truth in his denial of illegal drug usage, SOMETHING which he admitted to later under oath.
MOSLEY ADMITS STEROIDS & EPO ON VIDEOTAPE
A tit for tat lawsuit with the aforementioned Victor Conte forced Mosley to testify in 2009. In this videotaped deposition, Mosley admits to taking Anabolic Steroids, EPO and get this, he also acknowledged knowing EXACTLY what he was taking before he took it.
MGM GRAND AND GARY SHAW SNATCH PRESS CREDENTIAL
Mosley’s now ex-wife Jin “Ching-Ching” Mosley went to the MGM Grand’s Scott Ghertener and promoter Gary Shaw. On fight day, the press credentials for myself and Favio Flores were pulled for the Mosley-Winky Wright fight.
MOSLEY’S USE AVILA LIKE ATTACK HAMSTER!
A short time later, writer David Avila wrote a scathing story where both Mrs. Mosley and Shane’s father Jack Mosley called me everything but my name. They said not only that was I wrong, but that I was making the Grand Jury admissions up. Like a real journalist, (sic) Avila ate this crap up like popcorn at a movie, not realizing who had bought said popcorn.
AVILA’S PUTRID FAILURES AS JOURNALIST
Taking everything the Mosley’s said as gospel, Avila vilified and trashed me. But the reality is that everything I said or printed, turned out to be true as #’s 1-5 above clearly illustrate. But did David Avila ever print a retraction? Did he ever admit to being punked by the Mosley’s? No, like the people that stick by the JFK story that Oswald acted alone, Avila never bothered to look or investigate BEYOND ANYTHING the Mosley’s said.
DAVID A. AVILA TO “BOYCOTT” AL HAYMON SHOWS
Recently, I read that Avila was whining because he did not get a Press Credential for the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight. He took it to the masses, voicing how he was so wronged. Ms. Avila, to call you a horrid failure as a journalist is not sufficient. You are a tool of the Boxing Establishment that was used to try and kill the messenger.
FAILED EVERY ASPECT OF JOURNALISTIC ETHICS
Never bothering to check the facts, David Avila failed to practice the most primitive of teachings learned in journalism. Having stated that my sources were aligned with the San Francisco Chronicle, this after writers Mark F. Wada and Lance Williams broke the Balco story before penning “Game Of Shadows.” They had the Mosley evidence only they didn’t use it.
CAN YOU BELIEVE DAVID AVILA?
Recently writing for the SweetScience.com, Avila could have picked up the phone and I would have read the Mosley testimony to him. But he didn’t care as long as this whining little bitch had access to Mosley, got his press credentials and post fight hot dogs. In closing, I don’t think David A. Avila was unwillingly punked by the Mosley’s, for he soon knew that bold out right lies were written under his byline and did nada. In closing, Avila is what he is, a weak tool who somebody bought a computer and thus David A. Avila became a urinal-ist.
