“AUTISM” PUSHED CHRIS TO MURDER?

San Francisco, CA– As a professional investigator you try your best to put yourself in the shoes of other people. In the case of Chris Benoit murdering his wife and son before killing himself on June 25, 2007, if you study Criminology, when it comes to solving or investigating cases, you need to think like the perpetrator and at the same time put yourself in the role of the victims.
To be a successful investigator, this albeit ugly is vital. One of the main issues that had Chris and his wife Nancy Benoit were at odds with each other was how to raise and educate their 10-year old son Daniel.
STORY HAS MANY TWISTS & TURNS
In this probe, in which this writer looked into every possible crevice, I came upon the fact that a number of people thought that Daniel Benoit was “autistic” at the very least, while some were of the opinion he was “mentally retarded.”
DID STEROIDS CAUSE “FRAGILE X SYNDROME?”
This may have played a role in Chris Benoit’s ongoing depression. The fact that he had two normal kids from a previous wife, he was now looking at, thinking about the possibility that his years of steroid use may have been a contributing factor in Daniel’s Fragile X condition. Or that he may have passed it on to Daniel merely by being his father.
According to leading experts, Fragile X Syndrome (FXS), the most common cause of inherited mental impairment. This impairment can range from learning disabilities to more severe cognitive or intellectual disabilities. (Sometimes referred to as mental retardation.) FXS is the most common known cause of autism or “autistic-like” behaviors. Symptoms also can include characteristic physical and behavioral features and delays in speech and language development.
“DWARFED” DANIEL GIVEN HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE
Small for his age, and at the same time, according to some, not on the same level intellectually as a normal 10-year old, the District Attorney, whether intentionally or by a slip of the tongue, let it be known that Daniel Benoit had several points of intravenous injection marks in his arms, and that the drug being shot into the kid was “Human Growth Hormone,” better known as HGH.
DWARFING & OVER GROWTH FROM FRAGILE X
One of the effects of Fragile X is a stunting of normal growth I’ve been told. Although few medical records were released on Chris, Nancy, or Daniel, it didn’t appear that there was anything in the record regarding Daniel receiving HGH shots, with the exception of the words of Fayetteville County District Attorney Scott Ballard.
LITTLE TO APPLAUD DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR
I won’t go into Ballard’s performance overall because the murderer of Nancy and Daniel, Chris Benoit was dead. There was nobody to prosecute, still Ballard derived every bit of his “15 minutes” of fame in the media that a non-prosecuting District Attorney could have possibly attained.
CANADIAN WOMAN SAYS CHRIS ACKNOWLEDGED DANIEL’S “FRAGILE X SYNDROME”
Pam Winthrope, a Canadian citizen and widow who has a child that suffers from “Fragile X” condition, had heard about the Benoit deaths on the radio and went to the media. She said that the Benoit’s had been part of the British Columbia Chapter of Fragile X Research Condition of Canada. Before her husband died, he had contacted Chris and asked if he would become a spokesperson for the group, this to bring attention to the condition that few people know much about. In typical Chris Benoit fashion, he declined stating he didn’t want it publicly known that Daniel suffered from Fragile X.
JERRICO SAID THE BENOIT KID WAS “OFF”
Chris Jerrico, a wrestler, musician, and a for a while, a member of the TV series, “Dancing With The Stars,” Jerrico went on the record, this after seeing the boy in different social situations and stated that “something was off” when it came to Daniel Benoit.
LADY MCMAHON ON PLAYS SHELL GAME ON TV
Linda McMahon, wife of WWE czar Vince McMahon and WWE CEO stated the following on Wednesday June 27, 2007 on ABC TV. “The focus is turning more to the tension that must have been happening between the husband and wife over the mismanagement, the schooling, and rearing of the child who had the mental retardation.” (Emphasis added)
NANCY’S FAMILY DENY ANY RETARDATION
The family of Nancy Benoit, The Tortelini clan was infuriated by media reports that Daniel suffered from Fragile X, autism or retardation, and in turn denied there was anything wrong with the child. That being said, it was obvious to many that something was not right.
LOSING WWE FAME, CHEATING, SICK KID
If you add this kind of tension to already tenuous relationship that included steroids, in addition to the reported affair Chris was having with Michelle McCool, a WWE wrestler (the wresting females in WWE are called Divas), and violent mood swings, you can see that the Benoit’s, especially Chris, had problems that to some might have been insurmountable.
PART IV DEALS WITH THE ROIDS & LIES
This was probably the most boring segment of this series, at least from a writer’s perspective that we have aired. There will be at least one, possibly two more installments before I bring this horrific story to an end.
