HEAVYWEIGHTS PERFORM ON UNDERCARD
Eric Molina ( 19-2, 14 KOs), of Texas, vs. Tony Grano (20-2, 16 KOs) of Herbron, Connecticut NABF Heavyweight title
Very slow paced bout in the early rounds. Grano was knocked down at the end of round 5. They began to pickup the pace trading bombs in round 7. Grappling and holding in much of the latter rounds as fighters begin to tire slows down the overall action of the bout. Showboating in round 11 from both combatants displaying a bit of bravado. Close fight with neither man taking control throughout, but Molina more consistent overall. Molina dropped hard by overhand right in round 12. Takes a beating most of the round, but regains his senses to make it out of the round. Molina won a unanimous decision.
