RONDA HAS ONLY TWO CHALLENGES
San Francisco, CA– When an article was printed in this forum that shed a little light on Ronda Rousey and her respect, or lack there of with Floyd Mayweather, the Floyd fans stood up and pounded their keyboards in protest. After Ronda knocked Beth Correia into another Brazilian postal zone Saturday, could you see her doing that to Floyd?
RONDA TOOK 34 SECONDS THIS TIME
Things have gotten to the point where Ronda is “so far ahead of her opponents, she gets lonely.” That’s why the jump in weight to fight Cris “Cyborg” Santos is really the only option out there “fighting wise” for the soon to be Hollywood starlet.
ROUSEY COACH LUCIA RYJKER ONCE FOUGHT MAN
In another post that is linked to below, Lucia Ryjker was a MMA fighter, more of a professional kick-boxer and boxer, unbeaten in her life with the exception of her fighting Somchai Jaidee, a man who clocked her with a left hook. Rijker is Ronda Rousey’s “Striking” coach.
FLOYD & RONDA “ONLY FIGHT FOR BOTH”
If you thought Floyd Mayweather vs. the one-armed Manny Pacquiao turned the Pay Per View crank, Rousey vs. Mayweather could eclipse those numbers by at least two fold. That’s right, a PPV event that could draw 10 million buys easy.
IF FLOYD WANTED IT, FIGHT COULD HAPPEN
Should Floyd Mayweather say he wanted to face Rousey in a Mixed Match, and hopefully unlike the 1976 Muhammad Ali-Antonio Inoki boxer v. wrestler contest that resulted in a dull and easily forgettable Draw, I can tell you that Rousey would do it. Floyd’s present and future silence on the subject indicates he would not.
AL HAYMON & TEAM ROUSEY COULD WORK OUT RULES
People will say that this cannot be done, I say it can. Add some stipulations that would be “worked out” between the two and we could have a fight that we would talk about long after Mayweather-Pacquiao or Rousey-Santos.
FLOYD COULD HIT A WOMAN SANS JAIL
When asked about the fight in May, Rousey said she’d “only fight Floyd if he were her boyfriend,” which to many was a backhand slap as Mayweather has spent time in jail for striking women.
