ANDERSON SILVA IN CHOREOGRAPHED RETURN

Anderson Silva Celebrates!

Anderson Silva Celebrates!

San Francisco, CA– If you did a Google search for MMA fighter Nick Diaz you’d find a troubled young man. Once a champion with the now defunct Strikeforce MMA brand at 170 lbs., Diaz has had a fight (win) taken off his record because he had more THC (Marijuana) in his system than anybody ever tested by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Last night against Anderson Silva (34-6 MMA, 17-2 UFC), the Stockton, CA resident Diaz (26-10 MMA, 7-7 UFC) looked beyond pathetic.

NICK HAD EVERYTHING GOING AGAINST HIM

Yes, Nick was outsized. Yes, Nick was brought in to lose. Yes, Nick did just enough to make it appear Silva is back at 39, this after a KO loss to current middleweight (185) king Chris Weidman and Weidman breaking Silva’s leg in a rematch. Offensively, Nick Diaz was null and void. He had nothing and while he was in against a much bigger foe, the Nick Diaz that started a riot on CBS TV which canceled Strikeforce on the network because of the melee a few years ago, the Nick Diaz with fire in his belly is deceased!

SILVA LOOKED “STELLAR” THROUGHOUT

With Silva fighting a “Dead Man Walking” in Diaz, the Spider looked like he was 25 and not 39. Credit President Dana White and UFC matchmaker Joe Silva for “getting the right” opponent for the come-backing Brazilian icon. Scores were 50-45 twice & 49-46 all for Silva who will have a meeting with family members before deciding as to whether or not he will fight on at 39. Beating Chris Weidman appears to a longshot, thus Siva would best be served to walk away now.

MIESHA TATE EDGES SARA MCMANN

Two bantamweight (135) women already licked by champion Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate and Sara McMann went at it hard for three rounds before Tate, who got a broken Orbital (face) bone in the fight, rallied in the final round to take a Majority Decision. Scores: 29-28 and 29-27. Third judge was even at 28-28.

RONDA ROUSEY MAIN EVENTS UFC 184 AT HOME

The unbeaten Ronda Rousey has been moved up from semi-main to the main event after Chris Weidman-Vitor Belfort fell out because of a Weidman injury. “RR” takes on the capable Cat Zagano on February 28 at UFC 184 emanating from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.Rousey is a Southern California resident who just may sell the arena out as she does press appearances on major media outlets like HBO, USA Today, The Tonight Show, Sports Illustrated, something no other MMA fighter is awarded the opportunity.

ROUSEY & CHRIS SANTOS LOOKING MORE LIKELY THAN NOT

Like the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight in boxing, the clash of between Rousey and convicted Steroid cheat Cris “Cyborg” Santos is in “play” for 2015. Ronda says if Cyborg fights her at 135, she could, “Shoot horse semen in both eyeballs if she wants. I don’t care, I’m going to beat her down.”
