SENDING AWAY PARTY FOR HELEN DUNDEE’S “SOMETHING SPECIAL”
The great Johnny Bos attended the funeral and brought back this card. Having met and interacted with both Angelo and Helen, I can tell you that they were both classy people who might not have ever made it to Florida sans the influence Angelo’s brother Chris Dundee had over his younger brother. Had Chris not brought Angie and Helen to Florida, boxing history would differ. Muhammad Ali and “Sugar Ray” Leonard would certainly have had different trainers. But the worse according to Angie was that he and Helen would’ve had to endure those icy winters!

Losing a lifelong partner is not a good thing. Most spouses last an average of 36 months after the significant other has passed. Although my mother lived longer than that, a few years after my noble stepfather Michael Ramirez had died, mom lost any zeal for life and went through the motions until her calling.
