PACQUIAO’S “BUM OF THE MONTH CLUB”

San Francisco, CA– No matter where you stand on Manny Pacquiao, the bottom line is that fighters of his ilk don’t come along every day. Understanding that, I must point out that Pacquiao seems to have joined Joe Louis’ “Bum of The Month” club. First it was Joshua Clottey in March. This fighter from Ghana did nothing for 12 rounds other than hold up his hands. That being said, the best fighter in boxing next fights Antonio Margarito, a loser if there ever was one, who goes 12 rounds sans any real offense.

“SUGAR” HASN’T BEEN SWEET IN YEARS!

Next up on Pac’s schedule appears to be Shane Mosley. Another past his peak, older than dirt fighter! Yeah, that’s who the best fighter in the world should fight, a guy who’s only claim to fame in the last five years is rocking Floyd Mayweather one time when they met in May. But that will be the “selling” point, the fact that Mosley was drubbed for 35 minutes and 45 seconds, but hurt Floyd for a few seconds.

IS PAC JUST A FISH ON PROMOTER BOB ARUM’S LINE?

Is there any pride or self respect in the Philippine Congressman, one might question that seeing this is the third weak, sub par opponent in a row for the Pacman. As a member of congress, one would think Manny would could make up his own mind and fight somebody even remotely worthy. Although I’m no Andre Berto fight, that wouldn’t be a bad match. Tim Bradley, Devon Alexander, they could rumble with Pac at 149. Even though Juan Manuel Marquez looks nearly 45, Pac can’t spell M-A-R-Q-U-E-Z and is waiting for him to turn 60 before a third fight. The fans would rather see Pac smoke him like a blunt, rather than go the distance with Mosley.

PACQUIAO DISRESPECTING FANS AND NOT KNOWING IT!

Maybe Manny is in a George Bush-like bubble and doesn’t realize that his fighting bums isn’t what Pacnuts want to see. Look, the Floyd Mayweather fight is still a possibility for 2011, I wouldn’t hold my breathe as both guys seem less than 100% when they say they want to fight each other. That being said, a rematch with Miguel Cotto, this time at 154 lbs. might prove to be worthwhile. In closing, the best fighter in the world shouldn’t be fighting B or C level fighters three straight times!
