BELLATOR CALLS OUT STRIKEFORCE
One time thorn in the side Bjorn Rebney, the guy who made “Sugar Ray” Leonard Promotions into a promotional juggernaut, not, is now calling the shots (and having true success) at Bellator Fighting Championships. Having a deal with Fox Sports Net hasn’t been all that advantageous as the schedule, because of the various local sports nets, don’t get airplay at a set time.
BELLATOR A BETTER PRODUCT THAN STRIKEFORCE?

Rebney and company also feature the female side of mixed martial arts, something “sexist” UFC President Dana White wants no part of (for now). Back to Rebney, he wants to have his lightweight (155 lbs) champ Eddie Alvarez throw down with the Strikeforce guy Gilbert Melendez.
