Newark, NJ-Tomasz Adamek, (217 lbs), Gilowice, Poland UD 12 Michael Grant, (261), Atlanta, GA. Adamek (42-1, 27 KOs) shows he can bang, hang, and defeat a big heavyweight, but it wasn’t easy. It was a good paced hard fought twelve round unanimous decision over former title challenger Grant (46-4, 34 KOs). Grant came out slow as is his norm, as Adamek landed clean shots hurting Grant in round one. At the end of 12, the scores were a predictable 117-111, 118-110, and 118-111.
COLOMBIAN PUNCHER FIGHTS JOURNEYMAN

Especially in the fifth round, Davis for his part stayed on his feet but was outgunned. The cut was not a factor and there were no knockdowns. Scores were 97-93, 98-92 and 99-93.
Sadam Ali, (145), Brooklyn, NY KO 5 Lenin Arroyo, (146 lbs), San Jose, Costa Rica. Ali (9-0, 5 KOs) has his way with a willing but unable Arroyo (20-13-1, 4 KOs). Ending the night at 2:46 of the fifth round with a perfectly executed body shot.
