(Vacant WBO 160 lb. title) Dmitry (17-0, 14 KOs) ends Jacobs (20-1, 17 KOs) night and unbeaten record in spectacular fashion in the fifth round. Landing an explosive right to Jacobs’ jaw, Pirog put him down and out as the fight was stopped at :57 of round five.

ANOTHER JEAN PAUL MENDY WINS!

Jean Paul Mendy, (167), Paris, France W DQ 1 Sakio Bika, (166), Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Mendy (29-0-1, 16 KOs) after being knocked down by Bika (28-4-2, 19 KOs) at 1:19 of round one, gets drilled by Bika while he is down and wins by disqualification because of the foul.

“GHOST” FAILS TOP DELIVER “SCARY” EFFORT

Robert Guerrero, (138.5 lbs), Gilroy, CA UD 10 Joel Casamayor, (138 lbs), Mirimar, FL Guerrero (27-1-1, 18 KOs) showed ex-stablemate a little too much respect while dominating ancient Casamayor (37-5-1, 22 KOs). Guerrero put Joel down in the second round before Casamayor returned the honors in the finale. After ten lackluster rounds scorecards read 98-89 twice and 97-90.

LINARES BEATS ROCKY…AS EXPECTED!

Jorge Linares, (132.5 lbs), Tokyo, Japan UD 10 Rocky Juarez, (132 lbs), Houston, TX
Linares (29-1, 19 KOs) scored an easy ten round unanimous decision over Rocky Juarez (28-7-1, 20 KOs). After dropping Juarez in round five, Linares earned scores of 99-90 twice and 97-92.

Miami, OK- Ashley Theopane, (147), Kiblurn, London, United Kingdom MD 10 Delvin Rodriquez, (147.5 lbs), Danbury, CT
Theopane (27-4-1, 7 KOs) was easily beaten by Rodriquez (25-5-2, 14 KOs) but somehow earned the nod by scores of 96-94 twice and 95-95.
