ESPN 2 FRIDAY NIGHT FROM RHODE ISLAND

Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment & Sports, Inc. (CES) returns to the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, RI with a full card of professional boxing on Friday night. Entitled “Let Freedom Ring” and airing on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights will be the main event featuring “John John” Molina Jr. (20-1, 16 KOs) from Covina, CA who will be trying to gain the NABO lightweight (135 lbs) crown for the second time against unbeaten NABF counterpart in Philadelphia’s Hank Lundy (18-0-1, 10 KOs). Molina, his only loss as a pro came last September, losing a ten-round decision to contender Martin Honorio.

LUNDY HANDLED UNBEATEN HENDRIX WITH EASE

Lundy’s last fight was against Georgia native Tyrese Hendrix, dominating him over ten rounds and handing Hendrix his first and only loss (18-1, 7 KOs).

In the co-feature New England super middleweight (168) champion from Lowell, MA, Joey McCreedy (11-4-2, 6 KOs), who is trained by local legends Mickey Ward and Dick Eklund, faces his friend and stablemate Vladine Biosse (6-0, 4 KOs) over eight rounds.

THIS ESTRADA NOT FROM THE TV SHOW “CHIPS”

Eric Estrada an ex-firefighter from Providence, RI, will be making his long awaited pro debut in a four rounder against cruiserweight Keon Graham (2-2) out of Akron, OH.

Roxbury, MA fighter Maceo Crowder (2-0, 1 KO) faces debuting Worcester, MA resident Ralph Johnson, a former MMA fighter. As a special attraction Quincy, Massachusetts welterweight Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes (2-1, 1 KO) will be out to reverse her only loss in a six round rematch against Providence, Rhode Island’s Kali Reis (2-0, 1 KO)  who won a four round decision in their first meeting. Also scheduled to fight in four round bouts are Warwick, RI’s Keith Kozlin (5-1, 3 KOs) facing New Bedford, Mass’ Eric Pinaretta (2-3, 2 KOs), Woonsocket, RH’s Joe Gardner (4-1-1, 1 KO) against Shreveport, LA’s Demarcus Clark (1-2, 1 KO), Lincoln, RI’s Diego Pereira (4-0, 2 KOs) versus Las Vegas, NV’s Richard Calazada (2-1, 1 KO), and Fall River, Massachusetts’ Dustin Reinhold (1-1, 1 KO) versus Allentown, PA’s Joel Nieves (0-2).
