TOP RANK FRONT MAN ACCUSED OF BEING HIMSELF!
Phoenix, AZ-Rookie promoter Steve Ayala obviously doesnt read www.RingTalk.com. If he had, he would have known he is trying to promote boxing in a place where I feel the Devil has control. Long-time Top Rank front man Peter Mc Kinn, said to have forged medical tests and bounced checks to fighters among other things, is in my opinion the Satan of Arizona boxing! Some people want to affix that tag on John Montano, of the Arizona Commission, but as youll soon see, the nefarious act of Peter Mc Kinn is indeed hard to beat!, PROMOTER HAD HOTEL ROOMS CANCELED!
On Thursday, fighters arriving at a Phoenix motel were told Ayala, who had done no such thing, had telephonically canceled their reservations. Never an easy place to get a block of rooms, with NASCAR going on they were especially tight! Ayala, who is a partner with Legislator Ben Miranda, got the needed rooms. Heres the kicker. According to Norm Frauenheim, of the Arizona Republic, Ayalas people think the saboteur was Peter Mc Kinn.
POLITICO FORCES NORM TO ACT!
The shock and surprise here is that Frauenheim, having long ago been given the heads up on Mc Kinn, would write anything negative about Bob Arums front man. Im told Top Rank cannot get a license in AZ. This stems from Arums admission to bribing an official in the 90s, while attempting to get a non-ranked contender to fight, then World Heavyweight champion, George Foreman. For Frauenheim to even suggest Mc Kinn is what he is, the Arizona Republic writer must realize the political clout of Ben Miranda, now a state legislator, had he not wrote something about the attempted sabotage!
MC KINN, SAME MAN HAD COPS GRAB & HOLD ME!
There is only one person that could prosper if Miranda & Ayalas Saturday night card at the Celebrity Theater was canceled, and that is Peter Mc Kinn. He has a show in the Phoenix area next Saturday. You might remember this Mc Kinn clown was the one that had me detained by Phoenix Cops for 20 minutes, while walking an April picket line in front of Arizona boxing head John Montanos office. Mc Kinn claimed I assaulted three men, when I had in fact paid them $120 cash for their anti-Pedro picket signs and allowed them to go home. These were the same men Mc Kinn had paid to carry the signs. Obviously, the crooks as well as the good guys read this column, as they were ready in numbers for me.
RESULT OF THE AYALA/MIRANDA MAIN EVENT
Up and coming jr. welterweight Mario Ramos, Phoenix, won a decision over experienced journeyman Roberto Valenzuela, Mexico, to improve to 16-1-1. Valenzuela, declines to 34-17-1.
