Sergey Kovalev Dropped Nadjib Mohammedi Four Times!
San Francisco, CA– Although some fights are billed as professional boxing, that only means guys are getting paid. That being said, there were a lot of chalk fights on Saturday beginning with a match Stevie Wonder bet big, sight unseen, between unbeaten WBA/IBF/WBO 175 lb. titleholder Sergey Kovalev and Nadjib Mohammedi (37-4, 23 KOs).

In order to make Kovalev and once-beaten linear champ Adonis Stevenson for 175 lb. supremacy happen, Duva must “deal with” Haymon. Let’s see if she does. BUT what if Kovalev wins, would Al Haymon want a piece of Sergey? Don’t think this is absurd…..unless you have a #1 ranking, “promotional options” are always a part of the business.

87-year old Joe Jackson, longtime boxing fan and father of the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson suffered a stroke in San Paulo, Brazil over the weekend and his heart stopped. Luckily for Jackson, he was in the hospital after falling ill. This is Jackson’s third stroke. As for the fights, Joe always had ringside seats and fine, I mean fine Asian companions.
