INTERNET WORLD CALLS THEM “FLOMOS”

San Francisco, CA– Last week I wrote about how after visiting with some Black guys I chew the boxing rag with on occasion, and how they seemed to “belittle” UFC female champion Ronda Rousey almost unanimously when she was brought up. It was as if Ronda had pissed in their beer.
HERBS, INCENSE, MUSIC, BUT NO FLEAS!
When I returned to the Berkeley Flea Market on Sunday, I approached the group with the Rousey naysayers. Some of the anti-RR contingent were playing drums, others sitting on the steps taking in the groove. After debating who was the best between Ray Leonard-Tommy Hearns at (147 lb.) welterweight, the talk went to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
OLD SCHOOL TYPES NOT “SOLD” ON MAYWEATHER
When “Floyd” was passed around the circle, the group was seemingly divided between “old timers” and those under 30. Not surprisingly, the elders thought Leonard and Hearns were better than the Floyd Mayweather Jr. era, while the youngsters, a great majority of which were popping off sans ever seeing Hearns, Leonard or Roberto Duran fight, thought Floyd was superior.
WAITED UNTIL SHORTLY BEFORE “GREAT” MASSAGE
Although I wanted to bring up Ronda Rousey winning the “ESPY Best Fighter Award” right away, I felt in order to get the best, spontaneous response to my Ronda Rousey query, that I had to wait until the time was right.
THE DEFINITION OF FLOMO
That’s when I realized what Bloggers are talking about when they bring up, “Flomos.” By using the term we are NOT talking about about anything sexually. No, Flomos are people that are positioned so far up Floyd’s trunk that he can do no wrong. His calling other fighters, see Manny Pacquiao, vicious names, belittling people, the bimbo beating convictions, video of him kicking a guy in the head, to all that they say, Floyd was “set up.”
ROUSEY THREAT TO MANHOOD OF SOME
The Floyd backers, from here on in, Flomos, took turns berating Ronda because she said after winning the ESPY, “This is the first time a girl beat Floyd Mayweather.” How in the hell can the Flomos go after Rousey for that, when Floyd has been to jail, hit a man over the head with a champagne bottle, and has attempted to ruin people who never even crossed him.
FLOYD: “DON’T KNOW WHO HE (RONDA) IS”
Said Ronda after jabbing at Floyd. “I planned it since he tried to get snarky with me the year before,” Rousey said to TMZ. “So then I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to beat him one year and say something.’ So I would have waited another year if I didn’t win. I would have waited three years if I had to. I’m a patient girl.”
