San Francisco, CA– Former #1 rated junior middleweight (154 lb.) contender Tony Ayala died Tuesday at the San Antonio gym his late father Tony Ayala Sr. trained fighters for years. And while the cause of death has not been determined, Dr. Fernandez is betting on either a Drug Overdose (Heroin) or a Heart Attack taking him out at 52. Outside of family, and I don’t know why they would still back Tony, but they did, nobody should shed a tear for a man who was violently evil. When the woman shot Ayala in her kitchen years ago, my only wish was that she would have hit him dead center and I would have gladly written about the end of “El Torito’s” life long ago!
