WILL THIS DETERMINE WHETHER KIMBO IS FOR REAL?
Las Vegas, NV– Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (3-1, 2 KOs, 1 SUB) is set to fight former International Fight League heavyweight champ Roy “Big Country” Nelson (13-4, 6 KOs, 4 SUBs) on the upcoming edition of The Ultimate Fighter 10. Nelson is probably the most experienced member of the season 10 cast and will be a very stern test for Slice. If Nelson chooses to stand and trade with Kimbo, it could be an entertaining war.
$64,000 QUESTION IS CAN KIMBO FIGHT ON THE GROUND?
If however Nelson takes Kimbo down, it could be a quick night with Nelson winning via ground and pound or submission as Nelson holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Renzo Gracie. Kimbo still has a lot of work to do to improve his skills on the mat. Whatever happens, it will be an exciting evening and could possibly be a determining factor to see if Kimbo Slice is a REAL mixed martial artist or just an overly hyped street brawler. The show airs every Wednesday night at 10 PM ET on Spike TV.
