SHOWTIME PPV MAIN WAS A DANCE WITH ONLY ONE DANCER

(WBO 147 lb. title) Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs) continues his amazing run as he dominated the seemingly ancient Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs) over 12 rounds. Pacquiao knocked Mosley in round four (more of a trip) and Mosley returned the favor in round ten in what was more of a push and a gaff by referee Kenny Bayless. That’s about the only drama in this one. Scores were 120-108, 120-107, and 119-108.
ARCE STOLE THE SHOW WITH GRIT & WILL
Jorge Arce (122), Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico TKO 12 Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (122), Caguas, Puerto Rico (WBO 122 lb title) Arce (57-6-2, 44 KOs) upsets “green” Vazquez Jr. (20-1-1, 17 KOs) in a fast paced nail-biter of a fight. Vazquez Jr. stunned Arce at the end of round four with a left hook knockdown, but Arce got up unfazed. He had enough left in the tank in round 12 to begin a nonstop fuselage of punches causing the corner of Vazquez to throw in the towel at :55.
PAVLIK SHAKE BOOZE PROBLEMS AND NABS WIN
Former middleweighgt king Kelly Pavlik (170), Youngstown, OH MD 10 Alfonso Lopez (169), Cut & Shoot, TX. A rusty Pavlik (37-2, 32 KOs) after a few rounds got on track to get a ten round majority decision over formerly undefeated Lopez (21-1, 16 KOs). Pavlik came on strong to win a closer then expected fight with wide scores of 98-92, 99-91 and the 95-95 score was off.
Mike Alvarado (139), Denver, CO TKO 3 Ray Narh (140), Queens, NY. Alvarado (30-0, 22 KOs) pounds Narh (25-1-2, 21 KOs) into submitting after three rounds of punishment. Narh quitting on his stool after round three ahowed a lack of balls!
PEDRO PICKED ANOTHER UPSET
Neubrandenburg, Germany– Daniel Geale (159.6), Mt. Annan, New South Wales, Australia SD 12 Sebastian Sylvester, (158.9), Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany (IBF 160 lb. title). Geale (25-1, 15 KOs) earned his win over Sylvester (34-4-1, 16 KOs) with a twelve round split decision. Both fighters were in the fight but most of the close rounds went to Geale. Scores for Geale were 118-110 and 118-112 on two cards, and Sylvester winning 118-110 on the third.
Copenhagen, Denmark– Evander Holyfield (225), Atlanta, GA TKO 11 Brian Nielsen (238), Korsoer, Denmark. Holyfield’s (44-10-2, 29 KOs) quest for a fifth world heavyweight title continues after beating up inactive Nielsen (64-3, 43 KOs) who hadn’t fought since 2002 by 11th round TKO. Holyfield the sharper of the two as Nielsen was returning after an eight year retirement. Holyfield scored a knockdown in round three and finally got the stoppage in round 11 after busting up Nielsen for most of the fight. Time was 2:49. The game and unhurt Nielsen wanted to continue.

- Koki Kameda (118), Tokyo, Japan TKO 11 Daniel Diaz (117.25), Managua, Nicaragua. (WBA 118 lb title) Kameda (25-1, 16 KOs) dominates the taller and longer Diaz (18-3, 13 KOs) over 11 punishing rounds before Diaz resigned on his stool.
Tomoki Kameda (119.25), Tokyo, Japan UD 10 Nathan Bolcio (119.75), Kapangan, Benguet, Philippines. Kameda (19-0, 12 KOs) almost scores a shutout of Bolcio (10-3-1, 4 KOs) over ten uncompetitive rounds. Scores were 100-90 twice and 100-91.

Las Vegas, NV– Diego Magdaleno (130), Las Vegas, NV TKO 3 Gilberto Leon (130), Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Magdaleno (19-0, 7 KOs) takes out a lanky Leon (31-9-2, 11 KOs) after two devastating knockdowns in round three it was over at :49 seconds. Leon was also down in round one.
Juan Martinez (127), San Luis Potosi, Mexico SD 8 Bernabe Concepcion (128), Binangonan, Rizal, Philippines
Martinez (19-12-1, 7 KOs) after issuing a spanking to Concepcion (28-5-1, 15 KOs) wins a split decision. Scores were 77-75 for Concepcion, 78-74 and 77-75 for Martinez.
PRYOR JR. UPSETS ANDRADE
Indio, CA– Aaron Pryor Jr. (170.6), Cincinnati, OH MD 10 Librado Andrade (169.2), La Habra, CA
Pryor Jr. (15-4, 11 KOs) grounded out a ten round majority decision over Andrade (29-4, 22 KOs). Scores were 96-94 twice for Pryor and 95-95.
Enrique Ornelas (175.2), La Habra, CA UD 8 Hector Hernandez (170.8), Yuma, AZ. Ornelas (31-7, 20 KOs) went down from a surprising uppercut from Hernandez (10-4-2, 4 KOs) in round one, however he succeeded in winning easily over Hernandez. All three score cards 78-73.
