DANA WHITE “METAMORPHOSIS” FROM REGULAR GUY TO DICK
San Francisco, CA– Let me preface this with the following. Having known UFC owners Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for some time, I have a tremendous amount of respect for them and their business concept. That being said, Dana White at times can be the biggest dick in the locker room, one that would even include the late John Holmes.
KNEW DANA BEFORE HAT SIZE DOUBLED
That being said, Dana White “the regular guy” died soon after UFC 33, the first PPV event for the UFC and it’s parent company Zuffa Sports. Right about then, White began filling what were once decent press meetings into diatribes sprinkled with four letter words. At first, this was entertaining to an extent.
DANA THE UNDISPUTED UFC CHAMPION OF RETALIATION
But as White has aged and at the same time further tightened his grip on the MMA world, this hands-on micro manager has to many become a despicable and often mean tyrant who is fully aware of his immature acts when punishing those who have had the balls to disagree. Call Dana what he is, “Mr. Retaliation.”
“STITCH” DURAN FIRED AFTER “RING TALK” APPEARANCE
On Sunday, Jake “Stitch” Duran was asked during the Sunday edition of “Ring Talk Worldwide” about the Reebok-UFC deal. Thanking me for bringing it up, Duran responded and said the pact was not good for the fighters, and that the ban on any advertising on the fighter’s trunks was wrong. Example, Brendan Shaub gets $100 K in advertising when he fights. Under the Reebok deal, Schaub will reportedly net $15,000.
NO FIGHTERS I KNOW HAPPY WITH REEBOK
Never in attack mode, “Stitch” Duran calmly talked about how the Reebok deal hurt him as the advertisers you’ve seen on his cutman attire are no more. No matter how you look at this, the only people happy with the UFC-Reebok pact is the UFC and Reebok. I have yet to hear one positive comment from anyone of the fighter’s side.
JAKE DURAN SAYS DANA HAS “NO BALLS”
Duran told a reporter Wednesday. “Another thing that pisses me off, that he (Dana) didn’t have the balls to call me directly, he had some other guy call me. It’s not like I’m going to lack any type of work. It’s just that I really enjoyed working with the fighters and the people in the UFC. To get a nut shot by Dana in him not calling me and having the balls to call me, it just showed me the kind of characters that I was dealing with. Dana has definitely changed. Now it’s all about the economics. It used to be a fighter-friendly environment.”
WILL DANA’S EGO DESTROY THE UFC?
White’s taking the UFC brand from losing $30 million to being reportedly worth in excess of $1 billion was amazing. His comments last night on Twitter were Donald Trump-like. Cheap immature shots, dogging people’s profile pictures, calling them names, straight up, Dana White is an immature “filthy rich” twit who belongs on Twitter.
UFC WHERE “INCOME IN-EQUALITY” IS EVERYDAY LIFE
While the impotent Muhammad Ali Professional Boxing Act is supposed to regulate boxing, the Assn. of Boxing Commissions has a “very limited” role in boxing and apparently no role in overseeing the UFC, bout agreements, the split of money, etc. The UFC fighters recieve aproxitmately 12 to 15% of the total revenues.
UFC FIGHTER PAY NEEDS CONGRESSIONAL PROBE?
While White has his own jet, is a millionaire many, many times over, and yet some UFC fighters have to “finance” their own training camps. If they get hurt training and can’t fight, they are still holding the training bill!
REEBOK WEIGHS IN ON HEAT FROM “STITCH” FIRING
“UFC fans: We have no input on decisions of UFC employment or fighter compensation.”
DANA WILL IN TIME WILL “CRUSH HIS DICK”
Although White has survived stepping on his favorite apendage before, eventually Mr. White will implode in the not so distant future. As for Income Equality, the disparity of earnings between the UFC & fighters is so wide that White, et al, should see themselves for what they are, 21st century slave owners.
