UFC FORCED TO “BITE HUGE $BULLET$”

Jose Aldo-Chad Mendes

Jose Aldo-Chad Mendes

San Francisco, CA– In what was a devastating blow to the UFC brand, Dana White and company finally announced what we’ve known for days: Jose Aldo injured his ribs in training and Chad Mendes will instead face Conor McGregor at UFC 189.

TEAM ALDO PLAYING GAMES EARLY ON?

If you follow this from a chronological point of view, we break it up like this. 1) Team Aldo tried to pull a ruse on Team McGregor when they Tweeted, “Aldo hurt his ribs.” 2) Allegedly later in that same day, Aldo really hurt his ribs.

TEAM ALPHA MALE’S MENDES ON TWO WEEKS

Soon after word spread that Aldo, the “pound for pound’ king of MMA, a man who has never lost in his weight division, Jose (Joe-zay) was hurt, it was clear Chad Mendes was the guy that was going to fight July 11 against Conor McGregor.

THE ODDS LOOK A LITTLE WEIRD

In my handicapping of Mendes-McGregor, I have the Irishman McGregor 2-1, if not 3-1. Currently on the UFC website from Las Vegas, both guys are -$110 which means it’s Even Odds as of now. Bet $110 to $210 (total) on either guy.

WILL MCGREGOR FANS RUSH TO BET IRISH LAD?
If people were picking McGregor to beat Aldo, why then is the fight even? 26 year old Conor (17-2) is bigger, stronger, but you can never count a Team Alpha Male member short.

GAVE ALDO “HELL” IN SEPTEMBER

Based in Sacramento, CA, Mendes, 30, (also 17-2) forced Aldo the five round distance in the 2014 Fight of The Year, after being KO’d by Aldo (kick) in a 2012 clash. Mendes has only lost to Aldo.

MENDES IN “GOOD SPOT” FOR UPSET

From this vantage point, Mendes has nothing to lose. Against Aldo, he lost 49-46 (4-1 rounds). Called in at the last minute, he’ll get paid well, but how ready can he be on 14 days notice?

2015 “UFC FIGHT OF YEAR” UP IN SMOKE!

This was supposed to be the biggest promotion in UFC history as Aldo-McGregor made press conference stops on three continents! All that hype, energy and money goes to waste. Should Mendes pull off an upset, the UFC will lose big-time.
