JON JONES IN WORLD OF TROUBLE
San Francisco, CA– The story of UFC light heavyweight (205 lb.) champion Jon Jones fleeing from the scene of an early Sunday morning car wreck has evolved as the Albuquerque Police say they are seeking a Felony “Hit and Run” warrant. The Felony is applied because the other party suffered a broken arm, this could mean prison time.
JONES FLED, RETURNED, FLED AGAIN
Jones has a residence in Albuquerque and the APD say they have went to his home, called his attorney, the UFC, nobody is giving up Jones, his whereabouts, nada. After the crash, Jones ran away, came back to supposedly stash some cash in his drawers, and then fled again. This according to wittnesses, said to include an off duty cop.
YESTERDAY A MISDEMEANOR, TODAY A FELONY
Thought to still be in New Mexico, the police have changed the allegations as yesterday they were saying it was a Misdemeanor. Today, they’ve changed their tune and are seeking the aforementioned Felony warrant on Jones, the UFC’s premier male fighter.
JON HAS LOTS OF ISSUES
In the last five months, Jones has failed a drug test (Cocaine) and at the same time and test had the Testosterone level of an 85-year old man. Does he look 85 to you? There was also the 24-hour stint in rehab after the Coke admmission.
FORGET ABOUT JONES-JOHNSON @ UFC 187
UFC 187 was supposed to be huge! The 25-1 Jones vs. Anthony Johnson main event on May 23 will be scrapped in the next 24 hours as UFC Prez Dana White and co. scramble for an alternative with less than four weeks until May 23.
WHITE NOT GONNA’ BE HAPPY
UFC Prez Dana White was upset by the UFC 186 crowd many of whom got up and walked out on flyweight (125) champion Demetrious Johnson Saturday. Saying he, “Didn’t give a s*it,” was the last we heard from White, who like Jones was unreachable Monday.
WARRANT, TURN SELF IN, COURT DATES
After the Felony Hit & Run warrant is issued, Jones will be given the opportunity to turn himself in for booking, bail and release. A preliminary hearing determines whether this goes to trial, unless Jones opts out of the prelim and goes straight to trial off that first appearance, the arrainment.
UFC IN “BAD POSITION” RIGHT NOW
Two huge stars, heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and ex-bantamweight (135) king Dominick Cruz, this in additon to lesser known names, have been hurt a number of times. Things got so bad that the UFC put Josh Koshcheck in a fight (outside of the US) after being choked out some three weeks earlier to the point where “green foam” was coming out of his mouth.
JONES NEEDS BABYSITTER OR LIFE CHANGE
It appears that Jon Jones has the “Ticking Time Bomb” gene working overtime as he continues to make bad decisions. There comes a time when an employer has to do something. Maybe two 24-hour bodyguards to act as babysitters or better yet, Jones turns over a new leaf.
WEED FOUND IN JONES SUV
A marijuana pipe with a little bit of weed was found by police. In closing, will Jon Jones become to MMA what Mike Tyson was to boxing, a reckless out of control superstar headed for prison?
