BELLATOR LIVE FROM IOWA
Los Angeles, CA– Bellator 129 brought some excitement to the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA last Friday night. In the main event, welterweight (170) Paul Bradley won a unanimous decision over former UFC contender Josh “The Dentist” Neer (36-14, 1 NC). Bradley improves on his solid record, which includes a brief stint in the UFC in which he went 0-2. Bradley is now 2-1 with Bellator, and looks to be worthy of contending for the welterweight title at some point.
DRAW IN CO-MAIN
Light Heavyweights (205) Houston Alexander (16-10-1, 2 NC) and Virgil Zwicker (12-4-1) battled to a Majority Draw after 3 rounds, with Alexander being ahead on the scorecards until losing a point for head-butting Zwicker from the top position. It was a clearly intentional foul, which came pout of nowhere in a bout Alexander was winning.
