FEDOR HAS “EASY” MATCH IN STORE?
Los Angeles, CA– It looks as if Josh Barnett (24-5, 5 KOs, 15 SUBs) will not be able to gain a license in California to fight Fedor Emeilenenko (30-1, 7 KOs, 16 SUBs) at Affliction: Trilogy. Apparently the California State Athletic Commission refused to license Barnett due to a positive drug test on a preflight exam. Vitor Belfort (18-8, 12 KOs, 2 SUBs); who last fought at 185, will look to step in to fight the heavyweight king. All props to Belfort, but he is likely to be crushed like a grape!
