KAUFMAN CAME PREPARED & YET RONDA ROUSEY LIT HER UP!
San Francisco, CA– When you have a fight that goes less than one minute, there really isn’t much to write about it. That being said, there people now calling Ronda Rousey, “the Mike Tyson of MMA,” this after she blitzed Sarah Kaufman (15-2) in the blink of an eye. While there are skeptics, if you look at her amateur judo pedigree, one can see that this is not something that happened overnight. While she’s 6-0, 6 first round submissions, all elbow wrenching arm-bars, “Triple R” (“Rowdy Ronda” Rousey) began competing at the age of 11, captured three Pan Am Games Gold Medals, an Olympic Bronze in 2008, she’s been competing since the age of 11 (14+ years now) in Judo.

The fight that people want to see is Rousey vs. Cris “Steroids” Santos. Suspended for one year for the use of Stanazol, a muscle building anabolic steroid that is tough to hide, whether you use “masking agents” or not. Santos won’t be able to fight until December 2012, so says the California State Athletic Commission. Having already beaten MMA champ turned Hollywood starlet Gina Carano, many thought the difference there was Performance Enhancing Drugs. If you look at pictures of Santos, you might think you were viewing the torso of a well-built male athlete.
SANTOS WILL HAVE TO MAKE 135 LBS. FOR “TRIPLE R”
That being said, Santos will have to make 135 lbs. in order to get a title fight with the Strikeforce bantamweight (135) champion. The fact that she will be closely monitored be it the California Commission who suspended her, but more likely the Nevada Commission means Santos won’t be able to use “juice” for the fight. I would think that while Santos is talented on the ground, at 135 and against the “Queen of Submissions” Rousey, the chick that looks like she might need to shave her face will get outworked and end up being nothing more than a fighter on the Rousey resume.

Ronda says she doesn’t care if Santos is on the “juice” or not. “She can inject horse semen into both eyeballs if she wants. As long as he makes 135 lbs., I don’t care as I’m going to beat that girl.” Although we are anticipating this fight happening in mid 2013, a great way to build for this match is to have both participants (notice I didn’t say women) fight in separate bouts on a Showtime card before putting what will be a huge event on FOX TV. The match will draw a record number for the UFC on FOX as it will involve the female demographic in huge numbers.
