SAGA OF A POOR KID FROM GENERAL SANTOS CITY!
San Francisco, CA– Although I must admit that I get more negative “heat” on Floyd Mayweather, at the same time there are plenty of Manny Pacquiao detractors. There are the people that think he used Performance Enhancing Drugs to the reach the heights he has in boxing. Some people feel he is a black belt in hypocrisy. Others think he’s just some dumb Filipino kid from the sticks that promoter Bob Arum “pimps off.” An increasing amount of you just feel he’s got a yellow streak running through him and that has resulted in him not fighting Floyd Mayweather. People of that vein are also of the opinion that Manny, if not Arum’s prize pugilistic whore, is certainly Massa’ Bob’s finger puppet.
LETS LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE FIRST!
Those who ride the back of one-time Filipino fireball, they belabor the fact that Manny has forced guys into taking fights with him only when they are at a disadvantage. They cite Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, Oscar De La Hoya. And while they might be right on the first two, De La Hoya, not having learned the lesson of “Sugar Ray” Leonard and many fighters before him. Leonard agreed to fight Hector Camacho, this in his ring finale, at 160 lbs., a weight he hadn’t made in years. Camacho’s promoter Mike “Spendthrift” Acri, demanded that Ray and Camacho weigh in the morning of the fight, not the day before. De La Hoya, who looked like a guy on Chemotherapy he was so skinny, stated 147 lbs. was not unreasonable for him. Neither Leonard nor De La Hoya won a round against Camacho and Pacquiao.
THE STEROIDS & DRUG ISSUE MANNY ALLOWS TO LINGER ON!
A good number of fight fans, even the casual fight fan who has seen Steroids and Performance Enhancing Drugs work there way into other sports, they scratch their heads and wonder how Pacquiao, who is 5’6 maybe, rose from a skinny 107 lbs. to a ripped 147. To say this is a physical anomaly that has never before seen in the sport of boxing is true. Great, truly great fighters like Roberto Duran, the aforementioned Ray Leonard, even Muhammad Ali, when they put on weight, all three got fat. That’s why there some of the opinion that Manny Pacquiao was using Stanazol or Winstrol, whatever name you prefer to call it, this anabolic steroid helps you build up muscle and at the same time shed fat.
THE RELIGIOUS HYPOCRISY
For years, Manny has professed to be a devout follower of the Catholic Religion, one of the bigger cults in the world. But there is apparently one child born out of wedlock, a son that Manny has reportedly, according to the mother of Manny’s love child, hasn’t paid any child support in a long time and he refuses to give the kid his name. Talk about the devil and going to hell, if there is such a thing, Manny’s bringing this kid into the world and then reportedly shunning him like a leper is grounds for admission to Satan’s hothouse!
MANNY “SPINS” MAYWEATHER FIGHT & THE BOXING MEDIA EAT IT UP!
OK, Manny admits that he botched the fight between he and Floyd in March 2010, and has at times said he’ll take the “random drug tests” Mayweather is clamoring for. Then we have his agent Michael Koncz saying that the “random” testing that Mayweather wants “is not the random testing” Manny will agree to.
ROACH SAYS PACQUIAO IS BROKE!
The problems Manny Pacquiao has with the Philippine IRS (taxes) were not the first tip off that Pacquiao, who has reportedly made around $25 million US for more than one of his many fights in recent years. The smallest purse I’ve ever heard of Pacquiao getting since he shot to stardom a few years ago was $15 million. So for trainer Freddie Roach to say to more than one person that his guy is broke, there must be some merit to it, because whether or not he’s Manny’s trainer, Roach is not a “hoe” in the Bob Arum brothel AKA Top Rank.
TRAINING COACH SAYS MANNY’S DETERIORATED
Recently, Manny Pacquiao’s conditioning coach Alex Ariza flew the coop and left the Philippines. It was last November, just after Manny got a lucky break when he was awarded a probably undeserving decision over Juan Manuel Marquez in the their encounter, Ariza went off and told the press that, Manny was “exposed in the fight.” He also said that Manny’s been going down hill for three consecutive fights.
ALL THIS AND TRYING TO BE A MEMBER OF CONGRESS TOO!
Anybody who tries to compare the home-educated Manny Pacquiao to a Rhodes scholar is delusional. Truth be told, Manny, in his role as a member of the Philippine Congress, is as much a pugilistic puppet as he is a political tool for the Conservative Party in the Philippine electorate. In closing, the guy with a high school GED is just not smart enough to handle his business. Think about it, he splits his money with the aforementioned duo of Michael Koncz and Bob Arum, this in addition to Oscar de La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions, this before paying people like trainer Roach and Ariza. Bottom line, Manny is a goldfish swimming in a tank full with sharks, and before you know he’ll be eaten both alive and financially.
