People praise Ronald Reagan after his eight year presidency, but truth be told, he increased military spending, threw the country into a major deficit that Bill Clinton pulled us out of, had a slew of scandals, opened the door on those housed appropriately in “Nut Houses,” cut Disability payments to those in need, to which some people committed suicide, and he broke the back of the Union worker in this country when he fired all the Air Traffic Controllers instead of negotiating with them. This was a stunner seeing Reagan was so deeply involved with the Screen Actors Guild, the so-called union of actors and actresses.

If you recall, Gray Davis had just been elected to the office when a group of nuts that resemble today’s “Tea Party,” they launched a recall election because Davis said, “if we don’t double the car registration fees, California will be financially insolvent in five years.” Running on a platform to not raise the registration fees, Arnold beat Davis, who turned out to be a prophet as the state of California is so broke they are slashing state positions that include Special Undercover Agents, Teachers, just about all Social programs for the poor, this in addition to now attempting to change the Pension plans that state employees have.
