San Juan, Puerto Rico– World Boxing Organization (WBO) President Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, announced today the referee and judges who will work on the Middleweight Title bout between champion, Russian Dmitri Pirog, against Armenian Gennady Martirosyan this Sunday, September 25 at the Olimp, Krasnodar, Russia in a Banner Promotions and GT & KP Promotion presentation.
Valcarcel reported that the referee for this bout between Pirog (18-0, 14 KOs), who is going to defend for the second time his Middleweight Title, and #1 ranked Martirosyan (22-1, 11 KOs), the referee will be Viktor Panin, from Russia. The judges for the fight are Russian Alexander Kalinkin, German Manfred Kuechler and Hungarian Zoltan Enyedi. WBO Supervisor will be Igor Mazurov, from Russia.

Otherwise, WBO Superbantamweight Champion, Jorge “Travieso” Arce (57-6-2, 44 KOs), will fight in a 10 round non title bout versus Simphiwe Nongqayi (16-1-1, 6 KOs), from South Africa, this Saturday, September 24, at the Foro Promo Casa in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, in a Promociones Zanfer presentation.
