San Francisco, CA– In what amounts to a slow boxing weekend, which is always the case during any Olympic Games, there is no HBO or Showtime boxing events. Instead, the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC) take centerstage on FOX TV Saturday evening. The main event is Mauricio “Shogun” Rua-Brandon Vera, a light heavyweight “title” elimination match with the winner to face champion Jon Jones. That being said, my MMA guest on Saturday will be former Strikeforce champion Cung Le, who will preview the UFC on FOX card. IABA commentator Chalice Cambridge will disuss the 2012 Olympic boxing. WBC champ Robert Guerrero will also be part of the Saturday show at 11 AM PT.

The “free speaking” UFC star from the United Kingdom, Michael Bisping will go over the UFC on FOX TV resulys from the prior night. We may take a final look at the Olympic boxing, the alleged fixed fight and more with Chalice on the Sunday show that also starts at 11 AM PT.
